1. Who we are

Glowmetric is a skincare analysis application operated by Glowmetric SAS ("we", "our", "us"). We take your privacy seriously and are committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Apple's App Store Review Guidelines.

2. What data we collect

We only collect data strictly necessary for the operation of the application:

• Account data — email, password (encrypted with bcrypt), first name.
• Skin profile — age, gender, skin concerns, to personalize your analysis.
• Face photographs — used exclusively for skin analysis. Stored encrypted at rest.
• Analysis history — past scans and daily skincare check-ins.
• Purchase data — managed by Apple's StoreKit (we never see your payment details).

3. How we use your data

Your data is used exclusively to provide the service: generate your dermatological diagnosis, build your personalized routine, and enable daily tracking. We never sell your data. We never send marketing emails without your explicit consent.

4. Sharing with third parties

We use technical subprocessors under strict data-processing agreements:

• MongoDB Atlas — encrypted database hosting.
• OpenAI & Anthropic — AI engines used for skin analysis (anonymized inputs).
• RevenueCat — secure subscription management for in-app purchases.
• Apple App Store — payment processing via StoreKit.

No data is ever shared for advertising purposes.

5. Your rights (GDPR)

You can at any time access, modify, or permanently delete your data through your account settings, or by emailing us. Deletion is permanent within 30 days. You also have the right to data portability, restriction of processing, and to lodge a complaint with the CNIL or your local data-protection authority.

6. Data retention

Account data is kept as long as your account is active. Upon deletion, all personal data is permanently erased within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g. accounting records for purchases).

7. Children's privacy

Glowmetric is intended for users aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected such data, we will delete it promptly.

8. Subscriptions & in-app purchases

Glowmetric Premium is offered as an auto-renewable subscription (5€/month) or a one-time lifetime purchase (19.99€), processed through Apple's App Store. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date in your Apple ID account settings. See our Terms of Use (EULA) for full terms.
